Strange Visitor for Fasting Prayer in Jagirpalli, INDIA

Hello everyone,
this is Jesher Kalyanapu.
Last week, I went to Jagirpalli, which is an hour drive from Kazipet. The local pastor Rev. Satya Prakash held a 3-day fasting prayer. I attended the meeting on the second day. After sharing God's Word, even as I sat down we heard loud screams as if somebody were stabbed. I thought somebody got electrocuted or was demon-possessed but to our dismay, it was a big black Bear out there, right in front of the church which is located at the foot of a hill. No sooner did we hear the bear roar, the pastor announced in the microphone for the villagers to come into the church and take refuge. So, the kids who were playing outside the church came in running. The doors were shut. The church's youth, each with a staff in his hand, with some torches ran towards the bear and chased it out of the village.

As it was the time for corn crop, the bears come to the village frequently to eat corns and also to have some water.

Earlier that evening, a local pastor and I went on a bike to that village. After the close of the meeting, on our way back, we were escorted by some youth for 10 kilometres to a town which connects the highway.

I was really scarred to death because it's a first time experience in my life. A villager almost got killed by the bear. But praise God, He kept us safe and sound.
